Transcript
Assistant Acme Garage Door. I'm an AI call assistant. This call is being transcribed to help the owner follow up quickly. How can I help?
Caller Hi, my name is Dana Reyes. I'm having an issue with my garage door; it won't close. There was a loud bang about an hour ago, and now it's stuck halfway open. I think I might have a broken spring. Can you help me with this?
Assistant I'm marking this as urgent. Please stay clear of the door and do not touch the springs or cables. Could you spell your last name for me?
Caller R, E, Y, E, S.
Assistant Thanks. Is the number you're calling from the best one to reach you?
Caller Yes, the number I'm calling from is fine for a callback. Do you guys fix springs, or do I need a whole new door?
Assistant Yes, we do fix broken springs. A repair fixes the door you have. Is it a single or a double garage door?
Caller Double. And my car is stuck inside.
Assistant Got it. What is the street address and town for the repair?
Caller It's 412 Elm Street, Winnetka. Roughly how much does a spring repair cost?
Assistant The owner will give you a price after seeing the job. I've marked this urgent, so the owner sees it first. Anything else?
Caller Can someone come first thing tomorrow? I need my car by seven.
Assistant I can't promise a time; it's already marked urgent, so the owner sees it first.
Caller No thanks, goodbye.
Assistant Goodbye.

You can't stop a job to answer the phone. You can't afford to miss the next one either.
More than half of owners say customers expect a reply within the hour.
In a study of 1.25 million online sales leads, companies that replied within an hour were nearly seven times as likely to reach the decision maker as those that waited one more hour. And voicemail doesn't hold the call: fewer than 3% of callers who reach it leave a message.

You're under a sink or up a ladder when the next customer calls. Atendana answers that call, day or night, so whoever helps you with the phones today can get back to the work only a person can do.
You don't need to be bilingual. It switches between English and Spanish when the caller does, and your notes arrive in English.
Don't see your business type? If you rely on your phone for new customers, we'll write a script for your business. Tell us what your calls look like and we'll show you how it would handle them.
We make setup as easy as possible and manage the entire process.
It starts with a phone interview, not a form. We ask how you describe your services, your area and hours, and what counts as urgent, and we suggest ideas worth considering. Together we decide which questions it answers, how it answers them, and which it saves for you. Then we send you a sample call and the email you'd get, so you hear it before it goes live. We adjust after the first calls.
Need a change later? Call our support line, (224) 332-3893, and tell us what you want. We follow up within one business day and agree on a plan with you.
What it costs
Setup: $750 for standard service.
From $399 a month.
About $13 a day, with 150 calls a month included. No contract. Cancel any time: you aren't charged again, and your service runs to the end of the month you paid for. Your summaries, transcripts and call log stay yours.
From $4,070 a year,a savings of $718 (15%).
Paid up front for 12 months, with 150 calls a month included. About $339 a month, or $11 a day. No refunds; at the end of the year you decide whether to renew.
- Setup includes: we configure your services, service area and call script, test it with you, and review the first calls together. You keep your existing number.
Your plan covers call answering, updates to your script, and your summary email setup.
Every call is checked automatically to make sure it follows your rules. Over time we look at your calls for the questions that come up most and for better ways to answer, and we suggest changes for you to approve. The longer it runs, the better it knows your business and what your customers expect.
Need more than 150 calls a month? We'll work with you to design a custom plan that meets your needs.
Does it pay for itself? Use your numbers.
Your best guesses are fine.
This is your math, not a promise. It shows what those calls are worth if it helps you win some of them.
Questions owners ask
Won't my customers hate talking to a robot?
Some will. There's no phone menu: the caller just talks, and it says up front that it's an AI. At night the real choice is this or voicemail. Call it yourself and judge.
What if it says something wrong?
AI can make mistakes. We load your business details, tell it to leave anything it doesn't know for you, and review the first calls together. It never quotes a price or promises a time.
What happens with an emergency?
It asks what's going on. If anyone is in danger, such as fire, gas, injury or electrical risk, it tells them to hang up and call 911. Otherwise it sorts the call, marks the urgent ones, and you get the details by email within minutes. It doesn't dispatch. You decide and you call back.
Does it book jobs or give quotes?
No. It takes the details and emails you the caller's details and questions. No prices, no booking, no arrival times. That's on purpose: you know your schedule and your prices.
Are calls recorded? What happens to the information?
No audio is kept. Every call opens by saying it's an AI call assistant and that the call is being transcribed so you can follow up. A caller who'd rather not can hang up. We delete transcripts after 90 days. It never takes card numbers. The details are in our privacy policy.
Does it work in Spanish?
Yes. It switches to Spanish when the caller does. Names and addresses stay as the caller says them. Try it in Spanish when you call.
I already have an answering service. Why switch?
Keep it if it works. Two things to compare: many message services take only a name and number, and this also gets the address and the problem and flags the urgent ones. And live services bill by the minute: published plans run about $179 to $415 a month for 100 minutes.
How do I turn it on? Does my number change?
Your number stays the same. You set your business line to forward calls you don't answer, and after-hours calls, to us. We set it up with you first and you test it before it goes live.
Who owns the call records?
You do. Every summary and transcript is emailed to you, so it's yours to keep, even if you cancel. Our provider deletes its copies of the transcripts after 90 days.
What if my phone barely rings?
Then it may not pay, and we'll tell you so. Use the calculator above with your own numbers before you call.
